Surface vs. Recessed: Which Track Do You Need?

Choosing the right mount for your countertop.

Not sure whether to go Surface or Recessed? Here’s the breakdown.

Surface Mount (The Quick Win):
Think of this as the "furniture" version. The track sits on top of your backsplash or desk edge. It requires no cutting into your stone. If you want power fast without a contractor, choose Surface.

Recessed (The Luxury Look):
This track sits insidethe countertop or backsplash, flush with the surface. It disappears when not in use. This is for remodels or new builds where you want a clean, high-end architectural look.

Pro Tip:
If you have quartz or granite you don't want to cut, stick with Surface Mount.
If you're renovating, go Recessed.
